IELTS General Writing If you are planning to take the GT module, the Writing test is different. The essay questions have been reworded and are organised under common topics which frequently come in IELTS writing task 2. The final body paragraph gives the last negative effect: Most of the essay will focus on the negative aspects of IT, as the writer says there are more negative effects in the introduction. This task tests your ability to select and report the main features, to describe and compare data, identify significance and trends in factual information, or describe a process. Introduction Body Paragraphs Conclusion We will look at each of these in turn, using the essay question above as an example.
